Dedicated: Sept. 1886.

Location: Corner of Howard Avenue and Carlisle Road. The monument marks one of the positions taken by the 157th New York Infantry in the 11th Corps line before being moved toward the center of the line.

Description: The monument is a Quincy and Barre granite tapered shaft on a tiered rough-hewn base. It has an apexed cap and relief of an eagle with wings spread at the cornice. There are recessed plaques on three sides of the shaft, near the bottom. There are also reliefs of the New York State Seal and a crescent corps insignia near the cornice. Base is 6.6×5.9 foot. Overall height is 14.2 foot.
