41st Pennsylvania Infantry – 12th Pennsylvania Reserves

Raised: Philadelphia; Wyoming, Bradford, Dauphin, Northampton, Westmoreland, York, Indiana, Huntingdon, and Franklin.

Dedicated: Sept. 1890.

Location: Summit of Big Round Top.

Description: Columnar monument with alternately rough-hewn and smooth surfaces and an apexed top. Reliefs on the front include the iron cross Corps insignia and the Pennsylvania State Seal. Monument has two flanking markers. The shaft has inscriptions incised in the polished courses and a state seal appears on the west side. Overall height is 18.5 feet. Flanking markers are one foot square with apex tops.
