Description: The monument cost $950, of which $500 was contributed by the State of Connecticut. This is one of 8 monuments on the battlefield dedicated to Connecticut troops who participated in the Gettysburg campaign. Monument is a smooth cut granite shaft topped with a smooth cut hipped peak and set on a 6×3.9 foot rough cut and smooth cut tapered base with incised brigade designation. The shaft has incised regimental designation with incised five point star. Over all height is 4.6 feet. It has a sarcophagus style.
