Erected: 1890.
Location: The National Cemetery. Two identical signs; they are located at the north and south ends of the Cemetery Loop.
Description: Tablets commemorate establishment & protection of National Cemeteries. Said Act was enacted in February of 1867. Mounted at a slant on a tubular pedestal. Inscribed tablet details section 3 of Act, enabling misdemeanors & fines for destruction of National Cemeteries.
