Bricker Farm
The Leonard Bricker Farm is located on the west side of the Taneytown Road, east of Little Round Top, and just south of the intersection with Blacksmith Shop Road. This farm was used as a field hospital by the Fifth (and likely the Third) Corps of the Army of the Potomac. At least seven soldiers were buried on the farm, including two officers from the 44th New York. Possibly Stanndard’s Brigade may have also used the Bricker farm as a field hospital as well.
On the Adams County Historical Society’s field hospital tour, this is Union Hospital #7.
