Butt Schoolhouse

The Adam Butt Schoolhouse is located at the intersection of the Fairplay Road and the Fairfield Road. The farm is located about a quarter mile north of the schoolhouse. Both the schoolhouse and farm served as Confederate field hospitals for Anderson’s Division, specifically Wilcox’s and Wright’s Brigade.
