One of four brigades in Hood’s Division of Longstreet’s Corps.

Commander: Brig. Gen. Evander M. Law (August 7, 1836 – October 31, 1920). Graduate of the Citadel; professor at military academy in Alabama. He was the longest surviving Confederate major general and played a key role in the public education system establishment in Florida.

Losses: 500; 99 killed, 253 wounded, 148 missing.
