One of four infantry brigades in Early’s Division of Ewell’s Corps of the Army of Northern Virginia.

Commander: Brig. Gen. John B. Gordon (February 6, 1832 – January 9, 1904). Georgian attorney and post-war U.S. Senator. Rose to the rank of major general and command of the II Corps.

Losses: 537; 112 killed, 297 wounded, 128 missing.
