The artillery battalion attached to Anderson’s Division of Hill’s Corps of the Army of Northern Virginia. This battalion was usually commanded by A.S. Cutts.

Commander: Maj. John Lane. Georgian. Little seems to be recorded about him, but he was apparently a cadet at USMA when the war broke out. He reached the rank of lieutenant colonel.

Losses: 42; 3 killed, 35 wounded, 4 missing.
