One of five brigades in the Army of the Potomac’s Artillery Reserve.
Commander: Capt. Dunbar R. Ransom (January 10, 1831 – July 11, 1897). North Carolinian; professional soldier; graduate of Norwich. He was dismissed from the post-war army for deceit, although he was later exonerated.

Losses: 68; 13 killed, 53 wounded, 2 missing.
