One of three brigades in Ayres’s Division of the Fifth Corps.

Commander: Col. Hannibal Day (February 15, 1804 – March 26, 1891). Native of Vermont; professional soldier. He retired shortly after Gettysburg but was recalled to serve on commissions and court martials.
