One of two brigades in Robinson’s Division of the First Corps.

Commander: Brig. Gen. Gabriel R. Paul (March 22, 1813 – May 5, 1886). Career officer, USMA 1834. Paul was severely wounded in the face and blinded on July 1. His hearing and sense of smell were also effected, and he was unable to do anything except administrative duties.
