Commander: Col. Roy P. Stone (October 16, 1836 – August 5, 1905). Civil engineer from New York. Post-war he worked on roads and invented a steam-driven monorail.

Strength: 1,317

Losses: 853; 109 killed, 465 wounded, 91 missing.
