One of three brigades in Gibbon’s Division of the Second Corps. Also known as the Philadelphia Brigade.

Commander: Brig. Gen. Alexander S. Webb (February 15, 1835 – February 12, 1911). Career soldier from New York; USMA 1855. Webb won the Medal of Honor at Gettysburg. After the War, he was president of the City College of New York.
