One of three brigades in Wright’s Division of the Sixth Corps. Also known as the New Jersey Brigade.

Commander: Brig. Gen. Alfred T. A. Torbert (July 1, 1833 – August 29, 1880). Career soldier from Delaware, USMA 1855. He was a diplomat after the War and was killed in a shipwreck en route to Mexico.
