Commander: Col. P. Regis De Trobriand (June 4, 1816 – July 15, 1897). Born in France; novelist who settled in New York City. He stayed in the post-War army and later lived in New Orleans.

Losses: 490; 75 killed, 394 wounded, 21 missing.
