One of three brigades in Williams’s Division of the Third Corps.

Commander: Col. Archibald L. McDougall (1817 – June 23, 1864). Born in Washington County, New York; lawyer in Pennsylvania. He was wounded in the leg at New Hope Church before Atlanta and underwent amputation, dying a little less than a month later.

Losses: 80; 12 killed, 60 wounded, 8 missing.
