One of five towers built in 1895 by the War Department. Located on North Slocum Avenue, at the summit of Culp’s Hill. Tower #5, which was 75 feet tall, was located at Ziegler’s Grove and was built circa 1896. Tower #5 was likely dismantled at the time the Visitor Center was built in the 1950s.
