Patterson Farm (Sarah Patterson)

The Sarah Patterson Farm is located south of the Granite Schoolhouse Road, on the east side of the Taneytown Road. This farm served as a temporary field hospital, mainly for Gibbon’s Division of the II Corps. The barn was built in 1830 while the house is probably a post-war structure.
