Round Top Schoolhouse
The Round Top Schoolhouse is located just south of Little Round Top on the Wheatfield Road, near it’s intersection with the Taneytown Road. A one-room schoolhouse built in 1889, it closed in 1948, was sold in 1952, and is currently on property owned by the National Park Service. It was deemed historically “not significant” in 2004. It has been repurposed as NPS staff housing.
