Location: Located at intersection with Sickles Avenue and Emmitsburg Road. Built in 1895, United States Avenue begins at Emmitsburg Road and ends at Sedgwick/Hancock Avenue. United States Avenue is within area of 3rd day Battle and is the first avenue built on Union battle front by Federal Government.

Description: Cast iron avenue tablet designed by E.B. Cope. Mounted on fluted post, overall height is three feet. Tablet was broken and has been repaired.
